: "UVA gets all the fame but their ER service is horrible. 5-6 hour wait because they don’t have enough beds? Ummm they just built a whole addition to the original hospital and when I brought this up to the nurse she says not all those rooms are for the public, they’re private!! What!!! So sad the division of wealth is everywhere! It’s ridiculous to have to wait that long for an expensive service because the billing department is fully staffed! " - Melanie

: "I am a stroke patient and this is first time to complain sadly. North Shore Salem ED - 3pm admitted to ED area ( having waited in wait area almost 2 hrs ) This for cellulitis ( ongoing stroke complication) - I finally got admitted to Davenport 9 at 2am ( Epic has Bed Mgt tool)
This is total of 13 hours. The ED were visibly not dealing with trauma busy cases. I had a rule out blood clot ultrasound to check no DVT and an IV - beds were full in ED was on cot in corridor. Came up in wheelchair not bed. The room area bed space was empty approx 4 hours ( the previous loud patient was taken out at 10pm - this not acceptable - Salem is designated a stroke center awarded Gold by AHA - but no neurology here : anything stroke related needs to be triaged faster will be talking to Dr David Robert’s as protocol needs to reflect the designation "

: "I will NEVER willingly go to a Corpus Christi hospital or ER.

ATROCIOUS! I waited for 10 hours.and finally took an AMA and just drove to MD Anderson in Houston.

This happened multiple times to me, and also these are the same clowns that missed a pulmonary embolism and were going to send me into a procedure the next day.

NO F***ING WAY WOULD I LET ANYONE I CARE ABOUT GO TO SPOHN!"

: "Worst service ever every single time I've ever been over 17 years. Rude, Horrible customer service, Too quick to diagnose, the rudest E.R. staff, when you're waiting in the ER they do nothing to make you feel comfortable they act like they don't believe you. Maybe little you along with the rest of the staff. Their priority system of who goes first is ridiculous they don't seem like they know what they're doing. Security is rude. The wait times are outrageous. They'll be one or two people in the waiting room but yet you're waiting for hours. Then you come to find out when you ask that there's beds open but they just haven't been cleaned yet. Worst hospital system ever!" - Gina

: "At the core of ALL these complaints on here, and underlying the entire broken healthcare industry in the US is:
HEALTHCARE FOR PROFIT DOESN’T WORK.
All other developed countries have figured this out, but not the USA. Take the $$ out of healthcare, and ALL associated problems, inequalities, and entire healthcare insurance industry ALL goes away, ...poof! "
