Banner Desert Medical Center: "Terrible inpatient experience at Banner Desert! I'm typing this as an inpatient. Staff are barbaric and only worried about making their jobs easier instead of the patient. I have laid crippled in bed for 3 days now and tonight I feel unsafe and violated. I'm in tears because I feel as if I'm being held prisoner. This is not right." - Hector

: "UMC Banner gaging. 8 hrs and left on own accord. Sat in a two small of a waiting room for 8 hrs, rather go home and keel over then stay and be in that hospital any longer. BBB should be aware of the horrible customer service. We arrived at 4:40pm Wed evening, okay not to bad a few people in the waiting area (which holds maybe 20). Get called back at about 5:00pm. Great this is going to go well after taking information with a person who seemed less than interested took a seat in a small in the back which had 5 seats. Go for a chest Xray, after approximately and hr the employee comes out and takes him into a room for a EKG. Done he sits back down took about 5 minutes. Wait wait wait another hr goes by it is now 6:00pm we are informed that we all need to leave that area go into this other room I peek my head in there are about another 20 seats, but no empty ones so we are told well then go back out to the main lobby where we were. We are in the main lobby listening to a obnoxious auto door open close open close at about 9pm a couple employees come around taking vitals and even stated (its been 5 hours)of everyone still waiting. Funny no one is moving any closer to going home or being admitted we are all just sitting feeling like crap. They hook him up to oxygen and the wait continues. I go to the window to see what the heck is going on and try to get someone to assist us as well as another person (late 40ish women) having issues with nausea and dehydration from her chemo treatment. Basically told that nothing could be done they are busy. 10:30 pm another employee comes out calls us back Yeah we are finally either going to go home or get a admitted. Nope draw blood insert IV and are told your almost up we are next for a room. Okay this all sound promising. He goes to the counter this time to inquire about himself and again for the female chemo patient. Nothing. Anther 2 hours goes by the chemo patient now goes to the window, she comes around the corner and says she is done she can vomit at home. After 7 hrs of waiting she leaves. We hang in for one more hour at 1:15am he has them remove the IV we leave. What kind of hospital is this??? This is the same place that will be doing major surgery on him and it makes me very hesitant that this is the only place in town we can have this done. My biggest concern is the lack of empathy, and the lack of importance that the staff thinks it is okay for very ill seniors to just hang out in an emergency room for 8 hrs and be okay with that. I would never ever recommend Banner medical Center for anything." - Theresa

Phoenix Children's Hospital: "We went to PXH urgent care at 7:30 PM. They sent us to the main ER dor appendicitis symptoms. 5 hours later we are still in the lobby. All they did for triage was cursory basic vitals. I like PCH, but the ER is awful." - Still

Banner Del E Webb Medical Center: "We took our 87 tear old neighbor in to see her husband on 5-10-18. We entered through the east entrance around 1:30 pm. The lady at the desk went out of her way to be compassionate and helpful. Don't know if she was an employee or a volunteer. Hope you can identify her and let her know how much we appreciate her. She was magnificient! " - Lloyd
