: "My daughter has severe pain caused by endometriosis. The dr wouldn't see her an told her to go to ER. She arrived at 3 pm on Wed. Ultrasound, blood work/, urine tests were all done in tbe first hour. Ee sat in the waiting room until 945. In a room finally, got pain meds an discharged by 1130 pm. There were ambulances coming constantly. We just had to wait it out. Sucks that medical dra can't or won't prescribe pain meds, even a couple doses so people end up in er." - Tresea

Aultman Hospital: "Many of my community have voiced fears about using Aultman’s emergency hospital. They seemed hard to believe until my visit for a heart attack, huge family history. They rushed me in right away, took blood hooked me up to vitals equipment. They said a doctor would come in. I waited hours. They were suppose to be monitoring me but wasn't. After 6 hour I had to urinate badly and hit the nurse button for help. 30 minutes went by So I had to unconnected vitals and go to a bathroom extremely dizzy alone. When returning to my room I asked to be hooked up, no one showed up. The monitor showed I flatlined and still no one came, no one was watching, there was no one to save my life had it been me hooked up. It beeped for an hour before they hooked me up. I told them I was feeling fear for my life! I am going to another hospital and they informed me they were waiting for a room to come open for me. After 12 hours, having anxiety and fear from no one attending to my heart condition and watching them work understaffed, unorganized and unable to provide proper care, I decided to go to another hospital now! I was getting dressed to leave. I was going to call an ambulance to take me anywhere but here. Suddenly I get 3 people telling me a room is finally come open and cleaned. As I get taken to a room I noticed most rooms were empty and empty since my arrival. When my observation complaint was messaged the nurse says “Oh rooms have been empty all day.” My response was, why did the leave me down there where no one was able to provide care? She says “Oh, they say that because normally we do not have enough people working up here to have patients. We have people now. The hospital part when staffed properly was good, I was attended to, doctors showed up, test, food and water from dehydration of no water for over 12 hours. The stay was nice however like many in my community I to had a horror story of the emergency room. I am too afraid to ever go to that hospital. If ever I need to go it will be any hospital that is not Aultman. If not for a great family Doctor, I would leave Aultman in a heart beat. It is so strange to be in a group of people to afraid to ever use an emergency room at Aultman. Clearly this has gone on for over 5 years to save money at the risk of death. I cant jeopardize my life to reduce a budget." - Charles
