Wooster Community Hospital: "If I could give this hospital a 0 star review I would , this was the most unprofessional worst hospital I have ever been to, the only decent individual I had here was the older man that walked me to my room and the lady that checked me in at the desk . The two nurses when I gave them my symptoms looked at each other and basically acted like my symptoms I had were funny of some sort , one nurse walked out in the middle of me talking to the other one , then the other nurse kept telling me what I’m experiencing is just probably sciatica . No it’s not I’ve had sciatica before and this was not the same so I don’t need the input . Then the doctor comes in and all he did was ask me questions , did not blood work testing , or scans . Mind you I have come in for extreme lumbar pain swelling , my right leg is swollen and numb and I can’t feel my right foot , I woke up this morning with blurry vision , the pain and pressure increased in my back to where I can’t sit down or lay down or do anything at all , my foot is turning purple when I sit down or cross my legs . If I go somewhere else and something urgent is found , I will be sue this hospital . I have never experienced less compassion, lack of professionalism and incompetence in my life . I will never go to this hospital ever again nor will I pay a bill for someone asking me questions and discharging me when clearly you cannot see my back with your questions or why I am the way I am . You people should literally be shut down and I don’t know how anyone would ever go to or want to receive care for themself or a loved one . Oh and by the way you cannot ask someone questions , do no tests, scans or labs , absolutely nothing and tell someone they cannot have a condition that is serious or something that is a medical emergency . I also was lied to that this hospital does not do cat scans and MRI on site but yet I was here before for an abdominal issue and had a scan of my abdomen . I served my community in law enforcement . Clearly these people do not serve theirs they treat people with disrespect and have no compassion or professionalism. I am sickened I moved to the area and this was the only hospital in the area , I will drive an hour away before I ever receive care or have a friend or family member go here to receive care . Someone needs to look into this hospitals negligence as far as going and getting a bill when you have people ask you questions and do nothing to even know whether you need immediate care . I will make sure I pass this along also so that it is looked into ." - Alison

Wooster Community Hospital: "I went to your ER Sunday morning with severe breathing difficulty. We arrived and the door was locked they did not promptly respond to buzzer. When inside a nurse was standing in hall and instead of saying are you okay how can we help, she just asked us what did we want almost put off by our arrival. The ER doctor Dana did come in promptly.I immediately told her I had been to a Clinic in Columbus seen by OSU nurse practitione the day before and diagnosed with bronchitis and a sinus infection I told her my husband had all the meds in his hand if she wanted to see them she said no.Then later my husband handed her the meds to look at she said we did not show her an inhaler but we did she just was not paying attention. She ordered a breathing treatment but she acted like it would not make a difference and xrays. The breathing treatment really helped I felt like I could breath again. She poopooed all the medications I was on and said I did not need the
antibiotic. She said my lungs were clear but did not make any effort to see if my heart was involved.I do have two leaky valves and they have caused breathing problems in the past. The care and professionalism was lacking. Upon leaving the nurses were more concerned about gossip then they were with ER patients sad scenario! The Wooster hospital ER will not be my choice in the future! "
