Lexington Va Medical Center: "Scathing reports about patient safety have been issued about this hospital. I try to point out shortcomings and they deny deny deny. Lying to cover mistakes, misdiagnosis. I came from a medical background since 1986. the leadership here is at fault. When they cover up and protect staff violations, they are breaking the law. I will continue to try and make this a safer place for veterans to be treated by using facts. They argue against them when presented and even attempt to blame the patient. I have witnessed a drunk surgeon at a hospital prior but consider myself safer there. This Lexington, Ky VA is substandard. I just had a call from a nurse there who could barely speak medical terminology. I was not given a triage before being sent to the hallway to wait. I wonder how many a year die this way. Be an educated health consumer, look up statistics and don't believe for one second, that this is a safe place. I have spoken with the chief of medicine there and he denied, denied, denied. No wonder the staff does anything they please. Poor leadership, leads to poor staff and patient safety. I have been in the medical field a very long time and this is the most unsafe hospital I have ever encountered. " - Charles

Carroll County Memorial Hospital: "Upper management is a ridiculous. J I l l not sure of last name) talks badly to the staff, yells at them and belittles them in front of patients. I honestly have never been so shocked by someone’s behavior, like a toddler throwing a tantrum when her older brother takes her toy. The doctors are clearly bored and uninterested in helping. Registration gossips so loudly that I know HR has relationships around with multiple men instead of works and the CEO has been cheating on her husband for years instead of running the hospital if you could even call it that. The staff either is lazy and rude or fearful and cautious. Don’t come here expecting great treatment and don’t come here expecting fast treatment. Also if you live in that community I would recommend working somewhere else maybe where you’re valued and have morals that are treating staff unfair, or sleeping around. Small town backwards hospital at its worst." - Emily

Central Baptist Hospital: "Notoriously long wait times. But.. Very thorough diagnosis. I had skin infection. Central Baptist was 3rd hospital after it kept getting worse. Only one willing to test bacteria. Turned out to be MRSA." - Russell
