West Hills Hospital & Medical Center: "My grandpa spent 1 month in the ICU fighting covid. He didn’t speak English, everytime i called to check on him the staff said that they have nobody that spoke Spanish so he was there the whole time not knowing what was going on. I had to translate everything to him via FaceTime. Also, everytime i called all I heard was nurses laughing in the background. Unfortunately he passed away at that horrible hospital, THEN they released his body in less then 24 hours to some mortuary WITHOUT my family’s permission. This hospital is a JOKE! " - J.

West Hills Hospital & Medical Center: "You were going to discharge my father in law the next day. That night his daughter took him to UCLA and a different diagnoses. The head of cardiology said he would die within six months without a quadruple by pass. Story one. I have three others. Not diagnosing end stage cancer after two weeks. And a doctor telling me he found mold infection in my son's lungs but he i'snt going to to treat it because "this i'snt the emerald city"." - william

West Hills Hospital & Medical Center: "We took my dad to West Hills to the E.R. because he was having trouble with his heart. He had a pace maker that I said was on a list for replacement to the staff and that it needed to be looked at. My dad was a retired M.D. and even he would not believe the treatment he received. He was confined to a wheel chair. The man who put him in the bed basically threw him onto it. He hit his head on the back board. The doc spent about 2 minutes with him and left for the day new once did he look into the pace maker or test it. After about 5 hrs they said that he was fine.......My dad died less than 24 Hrs later and it was due to a lack of diagnostic care. If my dad specifically said do not sue this hospital. (he used to work there in the 70s) We would sue them into the ground!" - WEST

West Hills Hospital & Medical Center: "Arrived with chest pain at 1pm. Asked several times throughout the day where I was at on the list to be seen and was told I just had to wait, as patients are seen by severity. Finally at 8:30 I told the nurse I had yet to be seen and my chest pain was still pretty bad. He said, well you've already been seen and discharged. Not true, I've been sitting in your waiting room for 7 hours. I broke down as I couldn't believe they discharged me without even seeing me. Once they realized their mistake they attended me pretty quickly and my nurse was great. I just wish they'd get their act together and not lose or forget about patients." - Kristen
