Watauga Medical Center: "The doctor who was on call October 17, 2022 was so rude and unhelpful, I was applauded. I had my 92 year old sister there for horrible stomach pain. The nurse, Amanda was awesome and so kind to her. The admitting person was so rude and the girl who took her was just mean to my sister and to me. I complained to another nurse and I spoke loudly so the staff could hear my complaints.
I would only recommend people drive to Lenoir or somewhere else if possible because if you are old, you are treated like a worthless human wasting their precious time. It is a horrible place" - Louise
