Warren General Hospital: " WGH is a torture chamber, butcher shop

I took my neighbor lady to WGH for extreme abdominal pain. She was there for three days, diagnosed with a tumor in her pancreas. They never could control her pain to the point that when she was discharged I went to pick her up to find her sitting in a wheel chair vomiting. She told me that they had just given her a "narcotic" to ease her pain that made her dizzy and sick. They expected me to wheel her out until I had to ask a nurse to do it. I took her to her family doctor where they give her a shot to calm her stomach. Vomiting and dry heaving still went on for another hour. Three days later I called 911 for an ambulance for her. She had level 10 pain and could not walk. Ambulance took her to emergency room where, within five minutes, she was placed in the waiting room. After about an hour there she was taken into emergency room and placed in a closet that had only a bed. After another hour there with no attention given to her at all, I CARRIED her out of the emergency room and took her to Saint Vincent. This was very dangerous, but I had to. When we left emergency room nobody tried to stop us or offer us help. As soon as she got to Saint Vincent they took care of her pain immediately and kept it in check. She has told me that she gives Saint Vincent a grade of 10 whereas she is scared to death to go back to WGH. I contacted an attorney in Erie who told me that these terrible acts unfortunately do not constitute malpractice. They WILL get away with this and IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN if not worse. Please stay away from this terrible place for your own good! I will never set foot in that place again, I will choose to die first! It also takes six months for them to send bills to customers in network! This is not the insurance company's fault, they can't even generate bills promptly!"
