Via Christi Hospital Wichita St Teresa Inc: "DO NOT GO HERE. ESPECIALLY LATE AT NIGHT! There is a Dr there that is absolutely incompetent. My wife almost died there, and I went recently with an issue that had my pain at a 10 and it took 4 hours for the Dr to get to me. Nurses said he was suturing a childs finger. WHAT? 4 HOURS!!! When he finally came in he ordered pain meds in about 2 minutes. Why couldn't he do that before and then finish the suturing. Why did it take 4 hours to suture a finger, sounds like it needed major surgery. My wife went and was treated for pain, and then released. Went back to ER, St. Francis this time and had to have emergency surgery or she was going to die. Same DR. NEVER GO HERE IF YOU HAVE A LIFE TREATENING ISSUE OR YOU WILL DIE WAITING. OR FROM MALPRACTICE!!!! SKIP THIS HOSPITAL AND GO TO ST. FRANCIS IF YOU HAVE THE TIME." - Joseph
