Vassar Brothers Medical Center: "I waited for emergency care last night on 9/15/2023 from 6:30 PM to 12 AM. They did perform blood tests, but no doctor or assistant, or anybody came to talk to me about the results for 5-1/2 hours. I complained at the front desk, and they said a doctor will come out to talk to me, but NO ONE came out. I went to the front desk again and they told me once again a doctor will come out...no one came out. The Patient Representative said she couldn't do anything. I just couldn't wait any longer. As was leaving a couple told me they were waiting 7 hours and also had no alternative but to leave. Vasser did do blood tests and a chest xray, but I never saw results from the Xray. I wonder if Vasser will charge Medicare for a doctor consult visit?

This terrible quality of NO CARE, no representative, no contact should be against the NYS Board of Health rules, and against any hospital policy."

Vassar Brothers Medical Center: "Came in today with serious colon issues at 1 pm. It is 2:36 AM and I am still waiting to have my CT results read to me by a doctor. The exam was completed and results displayed in my patient portal. 10 hours just to get them read to me and waiting. Last year I came here and had to wait 9 hours to be admitted. THIS IS NUTS. I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN.

Admin was super rude and clearly uncaring. "

Vassar Brothers Medical Center: " I had to visit Vassar Medical emergency in 2023. Safely I had to wait more that 8 hrs to see a dr. Very upsetting to see the level of care they give to the patients. I also requested to see a supervisor, which never happen.

If you can, please choose another hospital to visit for your emergency needs."

Vassar Brothers Medical Center: "This has been the absolute worst experience. I will NEVER come here again. The wait times are absolutely insane. It’s been 6 hours since the results from the tests showed up on the portal and just waiting for a doctor to release. All while I’m watching an ice storm accumulate to make my drive home scary!!! Instead of all the money you spent on this facility…how about invest in things that matter like doctors to help people that have been waiting here for over 9 hours! That is insane. " - Dee

Vassar Brothers Medical Center: "Vassar Hospital referred me to this horrible place called Othropedic Associates of Poughkeepsie. I also had to wait like 5 hours in the waiting room my husband could not wait with me as he was not vaxxed yet a 2 year old with sinus infection was running around the waiting room with no mask coughing everywhere. I had a severe break and they had me wait as my arm got so swollen the wrist doctor had to wait 2 weeks for the swelling to go down just to perform emergency surgery on my shattered hand.

I do not know why I have not gotten a DM response from the "business owner John" like everyone else did on here. I had a THE WORST INJURY IN DUTCHESS COUNTY my surgeon said YET I was left alone in the waiting room for 5 HOURS. UNACEPTABLE!! I wa scared and I could not have my husband in there but other people were allowed in the waiting room because they were vaxxed. What are masks for then? I need someone to contact me about my service. Rude sercurity guard and rude front desk person. I was in so much pain but AND i really needed someone in there as I was drugged up and they nurse was trying to tell me important info but could not remember it because I was in so much pain and was on heavy pain killers they gave me. My fingers and hand was shattered and my wrist was broken in several places from a fall climbing. The night nurse was rude to me as well. I checked in at 9ish pm and did not get hime until after 2am. In what world is this accpetable. I gotten faster service in a Bronx ER having a lesser injury.

HORRIBLE PLACE GO TO NYC IF YOU CAN THIS PLACE DOES NOT SEEM TO CARE ABOUT PATITENTS ONLY THEIR NEW FANCY BUILDING THAT LOOKS LIKE A CASINO"
