Valley Hospital: "November 6th this last year I brought my husband to the ED for chest pain. The care he received at this hospital was the most exceptional I have ever seen! The nurse had him out of the car, on a stretcher and an EKG started within seconds. She then told him to hang on because things were going to get really busy really fast for him and she wasn't kidding! Their team converged on him and I have never seen such poetry in motion in that setting. Every person in that room had a job to do and did it without hesitation. They even managed to have someone with me the whole time. He had to be transported to Deaconess by ambulance and they had that taken care of so fast!! His life was saved, in my opinion, by the absolute professionalism and skills of this hospital staff. Example of their work: from arrival at Valley Hospital at 5:30PM, to him being admitted to ICU post stent, I was home by 7:30PM! AMAZING! Many thanks and kudos to this incredible team of professionals! I will note that I am a retired nurse!" - Linda
