Utah Valley Regional Medical Center: "Our provider sent my wife to Utah Valley regional(which is a 2 hour drive) with a 12mm kidney stone that was halfway down the ureter. They were told that my wife was coming. We arrived at the emergency room and saw the on call ER physician who was very nice and had good bedside manner after about an hour wait. After 2 hours, the doctor came in and told us there was no urologist available for call. What kind of hospital the size of UVRMC doesn't have a urologist on call. What a joke. After 3 and a 1/2 hours at the ER, We were sent home with enough painkillers to get us through 4 days before a urologist at a different hospital is willing to see my wife. We accomplished absolutely nothing going to UVRMC. No doubt they'll send the though. My guess is there is something political going on between the hospital and the Urologists. What a shame that it is the patients who suffer. Next time I'm driving right on by UVRMC" - Brooks
