Univ Of South Alabama Medical Center: "I was at the ER on Monday July 11,2022 I arrived before 10:00am for severe pain around 11-11:30 I was called back to triage to get vitals and pee in a cup. I had to hold on to that cup for 4-5 hours I went to the desk to ask if the would like to take it from me the girl asked what is that you would think she would no what a urine sample looks like but who knows so someone comes and gets the sample just to bring it back to me to hold for another several hours so I finally after 7 hours waiting I get called back to sit in the hall way for another 1-2 hours never saw a doctor could not get any kind of answers finally a doctors asst came out took me to a room to tell me I had a bad uti no blood work nothing I have 1 kidney and I am on the verge of dialysis which was told to them when I came so they called an antibiotic and told me to make an appt with my primary never ever saw a doctor and they acted like they did not give a damn about anybody and a guy came back sneezing on everyone was told he might have covid don’t know but the didn’t give a toot. This is so very unacceptable and so wrong on many levels but I will get a bill from a doctor that I never seen these people have no compassion but yet they choice this career I think someone needs to do something at best for dropping the ball I deserve some answers!" - Teresa
