Valley Medical Center: "This ER has some issues that I feel can cause loss of life . I went to Valley on may 30 2026 for heart complications and shortness of breath . The nurse hooked me up to the vitals monitor placed an IV and left the room . Well the monitor was glued to my skin but not plugged in . No alarm no , hey are you ok ? nothing . the doctor came in with questions about my situation and not one time pull out a stethoscope to check my heart beat or breathing . This is following an armed triage nurse immediate concern to get me to a room he said he was glad I came in because things didn’t look good. I was discharged and told everything was ok and not to worry. I have a-fib and hypertension so I was shocked at the handling of my visit . Was on the EKG MACHINE ALL OF 5 minutes when my symptoms were intermittent but serious . Was also told , on a different visit for a hernia I was told that my bulging scrotum was a common man issue and discharged without any further assistance. The next day I went to group health and was examined , had an ultrasound and a diagnosis of a severe herni in my groin area . I had a PA IN THE CARDIOLOGY clinic respond to a text I’d sent regarding my EXTREMELY low blood pressure ,without blood pressure meds for three days . Her text told me to keep taking meds to lower my BP with a BP already low without the meds . I texted her back asking if she actually read my text because I’d stated I was off meds with an extremely low BP . Her response was , no I didn’t see that then suggested not taking the meds . I’m wondering if this hospital is trying to kill me or something. are these folks actually professional or quacks ? you dealing with a 58 yr old man with a bad heart and making mistakes and performing JUNK exams that can potentially kill me And then just shrugging it off like oops ???? maybe it’s just me that gets this special treatment. My wife didn’t believe me till she saw it herself may 30th and was also shocked . Went to be seen for my heart and the doctor doesn’t even use a stethoscope on me to listen to what’s wrong ? Yeah I’d steer clear of this spot . I’m going to the big wigs about this madness . Good luck if you end up here for care . God Bless" - Anthony

: "I have neurogenic bowel prone to blockage,so have been in LOTS of ERs. Strangest time last year. While waiting, I actually went. Was getting dressed, when the nurse informed me that the Dr had issued an order for 2 lg enemas before he left- on vacation.
Ultimately, to avoid an AMA tag, I actually had to take 2 I didn't need.Awful" - Steven

Harborview Medical Center: "Long wait times, packed to the brim of waiting patients. Poor communication methods. Probably faster to go to another ER than wait here. Been here almost 4-5 hours now and next to nothing has been done. Waiting room is a bit dirty looks exactly the same it did at the start of covid." - Andy
