The Medical Center At Bowling Green: "I went to Medical emergency room at 5:30 pm and still waiting to get someone to see me 8:39 pm Patients come in and go I am still waiting I shouldn't have to wait so far 3 1/2 hours. They are not that busy, I am so upset." - Lisa

The Medical Center At Bowling Green: "I would absolutely never recommend this hospital for an Emergency. I was treated so poorly the last couple times I went through the ER. Both times I went in for the same problem, but worsening symptoms. (nerve issues in left arm, swollen lymph nodes) The older, blonde nurse literally tried to say my medical issues were just “anxiety” and when my blood pressure went down, she made the comment “see your magically healed.” I’m actually traumatized from how horribly I was treated the past couple times, and wish more than anything that I would have got this nurses name to report her. The dr wasn’t too bright herself, as she didn’t do proper testing or treatment whatsoever. " - Faith

The Medical Center At Bowling Green: "By far the worst hospital I've been to. I had to go to ER from work. Chest, side and back was hurting so bad that I couldnt stand. I didnt have insurance at the time. They ran every test that they could. It was a nurse practitioner assistant that seen me. After being there all day they said we checked your appendix and it was ok. What was funny is I hadn't had my appendix for 2 1/2 years at this point. I told her I dont have one, she she well u know what I mean and sent me home. I get a bill for 9,070.00 for nothing. They charged me for tests, and seeing a Dr, and for a Dr t ok read my results. This is something else crazy they didnt have a dr there, I never seen a Dr. Now my check is getting garnished.

I would not send my dog to this hospital, by far the worst one I've been to. Not very friendly and alot of charges for things that they didnt do. I hated everything about my experience with this hospital. "

The Medical Center At Bowling Green: "Disgusting unethical dr brooks at the emergency room , completely ruined my feelings about the medical center , my father was treated so poorly there , completely unforgivable, if anyone you know and care about needs to rethink going to the er at the medical center , I was there 3 hours and 47 minutes and never payed eyes on this man , would not know him if he knocked on my door ! Then declined him antibiotics after letting my father sit there with urine coming from the hole of his abdomen from a Supra pubic catheter, the triage nurse thank god knew how to change the tube , if you don’t know what your doing call someone who does, don’t let him sit that long and not show your face , absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had and we’ve had a lot of bad experiences there , I hope he is lucky enough to have his father and may one day understand how I feel ! Disgusted from every bone in my body , to have watched my father lay there for that amount of time with not so much as I don’t know what to do , sleep well dr brooks !!! " - Monica

The Medical Center At Bowling Green: "We got to the ER @6:15. My mom had all test ran in about a 2 hour period. Finally saw Dr. @ 10:30. She was admitted for a room @ 11:00. Then we were told she wasn't going to that room. Then @ 1:30 we were told we were going to another room. And still waiting at 2:30 in ER. This is ridiculous and uncalled for. She should have been in a room by 10:30. This is always how it is. Something needs to be done about this situation." - Bobby

The Medical Center At Bowling Green: "The treatment I received in the emergency room borders on abuse. I had been in their ER before but had no memory of it [or so I thought at the time] as I was in a full-blown flashback. When I began coming to myself, I was already on the 6th floor. Though I do not agree with some of the treatment, once the doctor knew [or figured out] I had PTSD, his treatment was swift & I was home in a few days. When I was in a horrid flashback a couple of months later [I was not aware I was], my sister called & was scared for me, which made me immediately group her in with those that were trying to kill me. During the conversation she cried out that it was 2016 & Harold died in 2008. I thought it was 2005 - I agreed to let her call an ambulance only from Medical center [the doctors on 6th floor would have known what to do]. EVEN trying to VOLUNTARILY SEEK HELP; they called the BG police to transport me to lifeskills. They would not let the 6th floor doctor receive me even though I had asked for them. The police officer remembered my name & the previous transport & "stood down" - they were not willing to put me through what I went through before. ONLY then did they let the doctor from 6th floor take me in. You can only imagine the state I was in. Had it not been for one ER nurse knowing how to help me, it could have gotten a lot worse ending in yet more mental & physical pain and anguish. I would NOT come that way again." - Johnnie

The Medical Center At Bowling Green: "I was having a heart attack and despite telling them about pain I was having which is similar to a heart attack symptoms (chest and jaw pain with consistent sweat), and my blood pressure being over 170/114 but they measured it 5 times until they got a reading of 136/110 so they said no your normal and wait in lobby. So they left me in pain for couple hours in lobby." - Sherif

The Medical Center At Bowling Green: "this used to be a top notch hospital, but not anymore
They refuse medication times & doses....causing harm mentally & physically to their heart patients.at least 2 hours to respond to nurse call button & blatantly refusing medication required by physicians."
