Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Kaufman Stories

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Kaufman: "Horrible experience. My family had recently had a loved one pass, he was in the ER at Kaufman Presbyterian(due to no rooms available in Dallas hospitals from COVID) Like most family’s that have never dealt with death in the family we did not know what the next step was. We had gotten multiple calls three hours after he had passed from staff saying we need to “get his body out,” we need to figure it out,” (this is at 10pm.) We had questions regarding on where does his body go, what do we do, can y’all help us out.

Staff was very unhelpful and staff member “Sharon”(I believe works in the ER) lAUGHED in our faces over the phone and said “HA you should have this ready.” They may deal with death more than others, but this is no way to treat family’s of a loved one and patients. I too work in the medical field and would NEVER treat a patient or there family’s or anybody in fact the way they treated us. All staff is very unprofessional, lack remorse and disrespectful. I would be so embarrassed if I treated people the way they do. I don’t normally do reviews on businesses but from hearing these things before personally experiencing them, than having to experience it is heartbreaking that there is people in the world that test others this way.

Sharon at Kaufman Presbyterian I hope you feel some remorse on how you treated me and my family. And i truly hope Kaufman Presbyterian can get it together."
