Sturdy Memorial Hospital Stories

Sturdy Memorial Hospital: "I was recently a patient in the ER at Sturdy Hospital. I found everyone very caring and attentive to my needs. Other than the fact that I was there almost 8 hours and waited about 3 hours before being seen, all was good. I know all ER's are very busy now and they did all they could to try to keep me comfortable during the long wait. They were packed when I was there with patients in the hallway, but they were great giving care and working well under the circumstances we are now facing in the healthcare world. " - Pam

Sturdy Memorial Hospital: "My recent experience at Sturdy Memorial ER was horrific!
Staff slow, lazy, disrespectful, rude, simply don’t listen or care. Very traumatic experience!! Security on power trip! I called for help.. security slammed the door shut without inquiring of what I needed help with. Terrible!!! Scary!! Demeaning. Maybe 2 people kinda nice. The rest nasty self involved judge mental individuals. That dare to call themselves professional. What a joke! Extremely unprofessional. "

Sturdy Memorial Hospital: "Very disappointed in the speech therapy department. After four visits, they did NOTHING to help with my problem. The so-called therapy involved nothing more than reciting a list of words, with no attempt to diagnose the root of the speech problem. No feedback was provided, and promises were not kept. Sad!" - Michael

Sturdy Memorial Hospital: "I hate sturdy. The doctors dont know what their doing, it's like their degrees came off of some scam of a website. They don't care about their patients like they should. I have to say some of the nurses are great but a majority are snotty and disrespectful. The wait time to see a doctor whether coming from the waiting room or when already in the room is ridiculously long, never-ending getting medication. The doctors dont seem to listen to your requests and make you feel as though you know less than. The only thing about this hospital i absolutely love is the maternity ward (where I had my daughter) almost 11 yrs ago. If i had to rate the hospital with an overall score it would be a D+ they really need to work on their patient skills, hospitality skills, and response time skills. " - Stacy
