Bon Secours Southampton Memorial Hospital: "This is the worst hospital I've ever been to. In 2023, I had the unfortunate pleasure of visiting their emergency room. It was middle of the night when I arrived. They determined that the only thing they could do to help me was giving me tramadol for pain medicine. No diagnosis, no treatment plan, no finding out why my condition happened. Nothing.
They then told me I could go home but I had to wait for my ride to get there since I arrived via ambulance. Unfortunately, my ride could not there until 4 hours later. Rather than leave me in a room in the ER (they weren't busy at all and had plenty of space), they pushed me into a psych word room and LOCKED it from the outside. It was sound proof.
They came into the room ONE time to check on me in 4 hours. They brought me a cold, partially cooked lunch. They left me in that room until my ride got there and she couldn't even get in until someone came and unlocked the door for her. Completely unprofessional and uncaring. If you care about your loved one, avoid this hospital at all costs." - Johnnie

Winchester Medical Center Inc: "This is my second review for a bad rating.
My husband and I were in a terrible scaffolding accident which we fell over 20 feet. I ended up with 3 brain lacerations and a concussion. I broke my are in 4 pieces and broke my wrist and destroyed my legs. What does Winchester Medical do? They let me suffer for 8 days before fixing my broken arm. My sister stayed with me day and night. Apparently they did not have the correct insurance in file so they treated me the lowest rate you imagine. My sister said they drugged me up so much I did’t know which way was up. She said I cried every day and begged them to fix my arm. She pleaded with them to send me to Fairfax with my husband instead of leaving me to suffer. She said they left my arm unattended and I suffered. Not until 8 days later and fixing my arm did I realize where I even was. Apparently whoever is rating this hospital has not had any serious issue. I have lost two friends in this hospital which should have never happened. Even a nurse told me to get across the county line to Loudoun and call 911. My issue now is I suffer with remembering, I have constant nightmares of me hurting and suffering. I wish I would have been sent to Fairfax, they say my husband received the best service ever and me I was left to suffer. They had my husbands insurance card because he had his wallet on him when he fell. I wish they would have realized we had the same insurance company. " - Dianna
