Healthcare from Hell

Here in Brevard County Florida the local hospitals are often derisively refered to as;
Parrish "just perrished", Cape Canaveral "cape carnival" and Wuesthoff "worst off".
The first two names may be unfair, but Wuesthoff Health System easily wins the
reputation for being the worst, they deserve it, they have worked hard to earn it.
Recently, I went in to submit blood and urine samples for routine tests ordered by
my physician. The nurse who actually takes the blood samples has been polite and
courteous for years. The clerical staff however must have learned customer service
from the airline industry. ID is requied and when I asked for the return of my driver's
licence, the clerk declined saying she would use it to commit fraud and other crimes.
This was not helpful, not amusing and not appropriate. I never had a police officer
refuse to return my driver's license or even had to ask for it back. I never had a
police officer threaten to use my driver's licence to commit crimes which I would
later be accused of. Wuesthoff "worst off", worse than getting stopped by a cop.
