St Marys Hospital And Medical Center: "Went to the ER at St Mary’s at 5:30. The EMT’s running the ER inserted a catheter into my arm and took blood. Waited 4.5 hours to get into a room. ER doctor ordered an ultrasound of my catheter in my jugular vein for dialysis as my neck was swollen. Around 11:30 he told me I had a I have In the mid right internal jugular vein at the site of the catheter insertion, there is a sizable occlusive thrombus noted. He talked to my nephrologist and they decided to remove the catheter and replace it on the other side, left side of my jugular vein. I waited until 1 pm to go to the IR and have the catheter put in and Dr Hansen who was removing the catheter asked me if I really are that I even wanted it removed!????
All the Nurses in the ER said to make a I was treated with anticoagulants. Well Dr Harawi has noted in the notes at the dialysis clinic that he runs that they recommend not treat my occlusive jugular thrombosis ???? it’s like these doctors just want you to die. I will never go back to St Mary’s ever again. I told my grandson if I die because the doctor’s and hospital did not treat me with anticoagulants and I die from an embolism to the heart or brain to sue!????" - Donna
