St Joseph Medical Center Stories

St Joseph Medical Center: "Husband arrived at 10 am - he was Covid positive Dr. sent him because his o2 stats remained in the 80's - he needed oxygen and fluids - he is 74 yrs. old - Heredity Heart disease 2 Quads and 11 stents. After 3 hrs. in waiting room - took him to another area because he was Covid - he was placed in a cold area without any blanket. He remained another 3 hrs without obtaining any oxygen or fluids - he gave up - returned home in much worse shape. I work in health care I understand the stress the Drs. and Nurses are under. But he needed medical care within a timely period not 6 hrs later. The hospital should have closed to receiving additional ambulances until they could get a grip on those they had sitting for needed treatment . 28 ER rooms all full and only 1 patient moved in 6 hrs. Please lord I pray for help." - C
