Ssm St Marys Health Center: "After a scheduled follow up EEG, my Neurologist suggested that I go to the ER when my husband was concerned about my behavior post EEG. I was in the ER from 10:15 a.m. until 6:12 p.m. on Wednesday, 12 October. I understand triage. However, we were not kept current on what my personal situation was. When I was finally called back from the ER waiting area to a room and asked to speak to a doctor, I was told the results of that morning's EEG were normal. We were kept all those hours in the ER while the staff did blood draws to check heart enzymes. I presented to the ER on the advice of my Neurologist. I spent hours in the ER with no information from staff on what they were try to do for me. I believe hospital staff owes each patient updates on their progress. I didn't get that courtesy from St. Mary's ER staff." - Susan
