Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center Stories

Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center: "I came to this hospital's emergency department after suffering through an agonizing 24 Emergency Room visit at Mary Washington Hospital and theirs and Dr. Robert Fines' abuse, someone who should not be practicing medicine anywhere on planet Earth. I was so disturbed by the LACK of care and concern at MWHC's ER that I came here immediately after discharge. I was seen within 15 mintues by the Emergency Room's Medical Director, Dr. Jayson Tappan. He helped me calm the fears inflicted by MWHC. He explained EVERY result that not one doctor a MWHC had done. Dr. Tappan, thank you!!!!! I will never return to Mary Washington Hospital again! They have done more damage to me (not just this year but in 2012 as well when they failed to diagnose the cause of a pulmonary embolism correctly) than I can express here. If anyone reading this has had a similar experience at MWHC, their ER or Dr. Fines, please report them to the Virginia Department of Health, The Joint Commission and CMS. Thank you again, Dr. Tappan and Spotsy Regional! You have a new, forever patient!" - Karen
