Silver Cross Hospital And Medical Centers: "9 plus hour wait, and no good excuse for why. They then tried to blame the patients. Disgusting, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. Tried to take an elderly relative in for Covid treatment, after 4 hours and being told it would be 5 more we left, went to a smaller less praised hospital and got right in and out. For a hospital that is supposedly in the top 100 in the nation, this is easily the worst hospital experience of my life. Avoid at all costs. " - Jon

Silver Cross Hospital And Medical Centers: "My Dad has been waiting for over 5 hours to even be seen by a Dr. He is 73, severe pain, blood in urine, extremely high WBC and Protein levels. He is sweating because he is in so much pain and they won’t give him anything until seen by Dr. These wait times are ridiculous. " - Melissa

Silver Cross Hospital And Medical Centers: "8 am and it says 10 hour wait. That with only 12 people in waiting area. Yet your site posts a 20 minute wait. Hospital tracker says 2hr 42 minutes. You have the most archaic system of checking people in quickly then making them wait in the waiting area. Then you take them back to a room for a few minutes then bring them back to the waiting area. What the heck is that all about. After a long wait it seems like once you go back you should now at least stay under care not retread back to waiting area.
Stop posting bogus numbers on line just to get people to come to your facility and sit in pain waiting. " - Gerald

Silver Cross Hospital And Medical Centers: "If your ER is full or maybe if you only have one ER doctor on maybe none at all, you should have the common courtesy to let the sick people know. People currently waiting over 10 hours to yet see a DR. Elderly people sleeping in wheelchairs for 7 hours, people with heart attach symptoms wait go for over 8 hours, children coughing horribly for hours, only to have their vitals rechecked because they have been sitting in a dirty waiting room for 8 hours. One lady walked home after 7 hours screaming “tell people there’s no doctor on duty”. Another man with an IV in his arm had it taken out and walked out. Another family with a sick baby walked out. Husbands blood pressure is 180 over 110, was told it’s a “little” high. One nurse has apologized for the now going on 8 hour wait and we are not even in an exam room yet. Total and inexcusable shit show. But hey we will get a nice hefty bill for our 10 hour wait, but at least we got a free bottle of water. " - Michelle

Silver Cross Hospital And Medical Centers: "Worse er ever. Seven hour wait never saw a doctor. Mixed me up with another woman and I got her bill. About 10 calls later straightened out (maybe). Nurses very ignorant told my family they were waiting for my ct results I NEVER had ct Told me of course I did maybe I had dementia. To bad it is the closest hospital. " - Margaret
