    Sherman Hospital Stories

    Mar 05, 2018, 2:33 PM
Sherman Hospital: "I was hospitalized in feb 2018 at Sherman Hospital in Elgin IL.
I was mostly forgotten by nursing staff except Kristen who was excellent.
My wife has been trying to work with the billing department which has been a joke. We have both been hospitalized there many times. Both of us has had many hospitalizations at different hospitals, UOC. UOW, St Anthony’s, KCH in Dekalb and they have all worked with us with KINDNESS and understanding, they get it. But Sherman wants us to pay 50.00$ on each bill which would be 300.00$ monthly. We can not do this. So after talking to billing I talked to Elizabeth the patient relation person who doesn’t want to help the patients either. We love our doctor who has helped us both and we now have a made a decision to change doctors who works at a caring hospital. Dr. Pallei has helped us so much with concerns he dealt with. We will miss Dr. Pillar and his caring staff. We have a doctor we love and now have had to make the choice to go elsewhere. "
