Sebastian River Medical Center Stories

Sebastian River Medical Center: "Normally this is a very good hospital except for the night of 8 Feb 17
My wife is on dialysis and she needed to go to the emergency room at Sebastian Hospital. Everyone was great until Doctor Edwin Stroup came in to talk to my spouse. She was trying to explain to him why she was there and that she is on Dialysis, from that point on things went south. He (Dr.Stroup) told my wife he did not care or wanted to know why she was having problems with her insurance and then she tried to explain to him again, that was the reason she came to the ER,and she was not feeling well. Then he said " I DON'T FRICKING CARE ABOUT THAT EITHER. I became very very upset, him and I started raising our voices at each other, that made my spouse upset again, she jumped out of bed and said she was leaving, Then this unprofessional doctor had the nerve to tell her to stay so he could take a blood test. She told him you must be crazy if you think I am going to let you take blood a test after your nasty attitude toward us. I don't know what is wrong with this doctor stroup, maybe he doesn't like mixed couples, don't know. I am a retired veteran with 22 years of military service and I can spot a person who is unprofessional and he is. I would never go back to this hospital again if he is the doctor of a shift. However, we did go back again that following Friday after we had talked to my spouse Kidney doctor, she assured us that doctor stroup would not be on duty, because if he were we would not have gone and probably ended up suing him for negelect.
