Altru Hospital: "Altru is garbage! I almost died twice at their hands. 4 different surgeries had to be done twice cause the first Dr put the hardware in the wrong spot so had to have another Dr do it right. Got mrsa, staph and 2 other bacterial infections after a amputation. The Dr discharged me an hour after my surgery, no antibiotics, and almost died again from that. The Altru physicians already have their minds made up before they even see you. # 1 thing they tell everyone, your fine its in your head. My labrums in both hips and right shoulder is torn. A year ago I had 6 cortisone shots in my shoulder, they should never give someone that many shots!! I kept saying do a MRI cause something is obviously wrong if your giving me that many shots which your tearing up my tendons ligaments and making my shoulder worse from all those shots, but again, its in my head im fine they say. Never comtactrf my family who are my emergency contacts when I had only 2% chance of survival and was in a coma and since they suck and couldn't keep me alive put me on a medivac private jet to a real hospital and i could of died on the plane, at the other hospital. After a week my parents haven't heard from me, couldn't find my car, called jails, even called Altru, they filed a missing persons report. The cop who showed up to take the report was the one that found me. He said you don't know what's going on, altru never contacted you and informed you what happened. Nope. After I was better, almost a year later I went to the Er at altru and asked them why they dudnt contact my emergency contacts, my parents. They said, no bullshit, " your over the age of 18 which makes you a adult, so we don't contact emergency contacts if your over 18 since your a adult". They know they f@#ked up and tried to cover their ass. Trust me, noone in this town likes altru except for maybe 5% of the people. You only get reviews of the good things. This hospital and the vast majority of its employees need to be let go. They all lie. Altru is worse than the VA hospitals, I know its worse than the one I go to. And that's hard to do, be worse than a VA hospital. But they are. I've gotten even more horrible stories that altru has done to me. They need to be shut down! Thank you sir OT ma'am. " - Justin
