Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center - Plymouth Stories

Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center - Plymouth: "On my last visit to this alledged Emergency Department, I was literally wondering abandoned for more tban three hours before being seen by a provider, despite arriving via ambulance with complaint of "difficulty breathing"! There were but a handful of "urgent care" patients present, many of whom arrived AFTER me...and, not one, but TWO providers were on duty.
I was falsely labeled a "drug addict" simply because I'd been on meds with "abuse POTENTIAL" but with no medical history/record of abusing anything over 40,25 and 12 years-EVER!
On an earlier visit, I'd presented with inadvertent acute alcohol poisoning and sbortness of breath, I had recently been forced to substitute alcohol for my benzo of 40 years (in order to prevent potentially FATAL seizures, which SHOULD be common knowledge-both drugs hit the same GABA receptor!) as I couldn't get into see my newly appointed Trinity Health PCP for three months and was out of some meds. I had asked my 9-y-old adopted son to make me a Martini (I'm bedridden due to muscle wasting) and he filled the tumbler to the brim... Still not sure how or why I drank it all, but such is demonstrably NOT typical behavior of myself! I'd recently halted my daughter's $500/month tuition reimbursement (again due to inappropriate spending). She's an FNP in this Emergency Room, and from what I've been able to ascertain, maliciously
informed Dr Cancel that I "had a history of alcohol abuse" despite no such history in my medical record-ever. She also stated SHE was concerned that I've been on three meds with "abuse potential", yet no such prescriptive record even remotely suggestive of abuse
exists. Despite her close proximity, I've only SEEN her perhaps a dozen times over the past seven years (I'm no longer able to ambulate). She's " permitted" me to see my grandkids all of 3-4 times in seven years! She only makes herself available, historically, when I'm giving her $$$. And,SHE has a provable prescriptive history (INSPECT record) of ampbetamine misuse during her ENTIRE nursing and FNP education!
Still, it is grossly negligent, and potentially LETHAL, to abruptly stop any patient's benzo after long term (appropriate) use! In fact, I ultimately DID have a tonic-clonic generalized seizure, which because of the nature of my rare muscle disease, caused global muscle contractures, widespread muscle cell death and ensuing kidney failure! Nice... " - Dr
