Sacred Heart Medical Center - Riverbend: "I took my 70 year old husband to Riverbend ER after a fall on to concrete (found out the next day that he had a broken arm). We arrived at RiverBend a little after 4pm and waited 8 hours. Gave up at midnight, went home and wrapped it myself until he could contact his primary care provider. Everyone knows that there is usually a wait at the ER but 8 hours. Utterly ridiculous. Won’t go there again. The only thing that made it bearable was the kindness of the staff in the ER (front desk, nurses, etc)" - Anita

Few weeks later I took him to Cottage Grove Peace Health Emergency room and it took 4 hours before he was taken back. Horrible and needs to be worked on." - Shelley

Sacred Heart Medical Center - Riverbend: "PeaceHealth only puts their "Mission Statement" on the wall to look good. In my experience they do not practice it. One doctor even stated, "It's not like you're going to die tonight". She then proceeded to party down on New Year's and NOT perform a neurological exam as indicated in my records. Mistakes are made.
People are injured (sometimes). Lives are lost. Oh, well. Just increase premiums and reimbursements. Only a few will make it to court." - S
