Robert Packer Hospital: "I went to the ER this evening with kidney pain and waited for the better part of three hours without being seen. Apart from the Triage nurses, the amount of time you have to wait to be seen is PATHETIC! Absolutely a terrible experience and I would suggest going to a different hospital." - Joseph

Robert Packer Hospital: "Brought my girlfriend in after she injured her foot. The pain had become unbearable. Any weight bearing was out of the question. We moved through triage and saw our doctor within 20 minutes of arriving. The doctor says that she will need an X-Ray and that people will come to take her. So we wait. And wait. And wait. Finally a nurse peeks her head in an hour later. She asks "Did you get your X-Ray yet?" We respond with no. She goes and talks to other nurses at the desk. We hear her say "Why hasn't the patient in room 7 been taken for her X-Ray?" Other nurses respond with "Oh the techs left a while ago to do the portable X-Rays on the upper floors and in the ICU." First nurse then says "They were supposed to do her X-Ray before leaving." We have been waiting for her to get an X-Ray for just 15 minutes short of 2 hours. We are still waiting. Doctor came by again at one point and offered a pleasant explanation as to what the techs were doing and why the wait has been so long. Prior to this I had wandered out to the nurses' desk and asked a woman at the desk if my girlfriend would be getting her X-Ray soon. She responded with "It takes time when you go to the ER." This was said in a very condescending tone I might add. So, again, we are still waiting. The RPH ER is known for its slowness but this is outrageous. Very dissatisfied." - Cody
