Renown Regional Medical Center: "I recently lost my best friend of 25 years to these idiots. He had manageable heart failure, but had been recently been installed a pacemaker/defibrillator. The machine was installed incorrectly, causing him pain and numbness in his left hand and arm. He complained to the surgeon about the issues he was having with the device, but the doctor told him it was normal. He had the device in him when about 2 weeks ago, he came over to use the swimming pool,(which is something he did about 3 days a week.) The last time I saw him, he went to the pool to cool off. When he jumped into the water, he stated that when he surfaced, his heart stopped beating for about 15 to 20 seconds before he felt the shock of the defibrillator. He managed to pull himself out of the pool. He put his shoes and short on with huge difficulty, and drove himself to Renown South Meadows Hospital.
When he arrived, they put him onto a gurney, and pushed him into one of the emergency waiting triage rooms. When a doctor finally showed up to assess him, he had been waiting for quite a long time. They went over his medical history, ad nauseum, and then he waited, again, for a long period of time... All the while in extreme distress due to the apparent massive coronary heart attack he was suffering from. He described the horrible care he received from Renown's "doctors" for three days of absolute agony. After this evident heart attack, (3 days stay) he was discharged from Renown. He went to his girlfriend's house, where he spent the last night of his life. When he woke the next morning, he said that he was not feeling very well, but he needed to get home to rest and try to feel better. While he was getting ready to leave, he had the last heart attack. It took his life. He was 49 years old.
Renown is employing quacks. They are incompetent to say the most positive thing I can think of to describe them."

Renown Regional Medical Center: "RUN don't walk from this hospital. My father was murdered by reno renown hospital. This was not simple neglect, it was premeditated, planned murder. They knew he had bloody stools and a necrosing smell yet waited over 4 weeks to do an xray or cat scan. By they made sure he was too far gone when they finally, at our continued prompting, investigated and found an ischemia (easy to treat if caught early) had caused gangrene in his small bowel, large bowel and stomach. It was too late. This man had been hospitalized in the same hospital for 8 months yet has not had any xrays or cat scans in 6 months.....since day 3 they have been badgering us to kill him. He ran out of insurance Dec 2. I said when they exhausted all means of getting more money from him, they would kill him. This hospital murdered my dad. Yes, we have sought legal counsel, did 3 weeks ago....just wasn't soon enough. and this morning at 12:03...he died....not from neglect, but from planned murder." - Janai
