Providence St Mary Medical Center Stories

Providence St Mary Medical Center: ""no consistently negative reviews" is a load of bs. This ER has always been consistently terrible, yet they never have to do anything to improve because there is no other choice in this city. They're trying to 'improve wait times' by boxing people up in the waiting room and airing people's private information out for all to hear. They don't do anything except give you a saline IV and leave you to publicly suffer without help.
I have been living here for a while and I have definitely noticed an exodus of doctors and specialist OUT of Walla Walla, leaving only one or two specialists (OR NONE) to take care of an entire city. It takes months to see anyone, and you just have to stuffing the meantime because the ER will do nothing.
The other hospital shutting down was the worst thing to ever happen in this city. And yes, this is a CITY. Not a rural town. There needs to be more than one hospital to deal with the load of people here. You can't just shunt them off to places an hour or two hours away. Gas prices are too high to be going back and forth.
Get more specialist doctors or open back up the other hospital! " - K.C.
