Palmetto Health Baptist: "I also had a very bad experience when I had a small hernia operation and was told by the doctor that I would have to stay overnight as my fiance was out of state. I was woken up every three hours for one or another useless procedure which they charged top dollar for. The nurse got my file mixed up with someone else who had some kind of skin disease. Next thing I'm told that they were going to quarantine me. They charged me close to $9000.00 for one night in hospital and treated me like a doormat I will never set foot in that hospital again.
