Providence Portland Medical Center: "I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have a client with an acute pain situation. He has been to the Providence ER 4 (four!!!) times and they turn him away saying they cannot help him. If this hospital cannot help people then it should shut down.
I called and spoke with Nurse Supervisor Jason who promised me he would get my client seen by a neurologist. he broke that promise. They discharged my client saying "we can't help you" then WHAT ARE YOU THERE FOR??? This hospital ER should be decertified because they are inhumane and incompetent and dishonest." - Baruch

: "WTF is going on? Motorcycle accident waiting hours?! Severe pain hours in an empty lobby?! I won't bother with gross mishandling of trauma and mental wellness or any mental health disorders...I mean really why people are surprised people turn to street drugs for relief and then America criminalizes it .as far as I'm concerned more and more like the street drugs are the real MD pharmacy and the criminals are the way this nation handln' things. Ohsu Hospital And Clinics: "I was sent to OHSU following a motorcycle accidenton 6/1/23. I sat on a gurney in a hallway for several hours, spoke briefly with one overworked intern, they drew blood, then I was discharged. There was no physical examination, no diagnostic work up, no observation, the blood test was for alcohol even though there was no alcohol involved and the accident was over eight hours earlier. They missed a tibial plateau fracture that should have had immediate surgery, and a significant neck sprain. They billed me over $20,000 for "activation of a tramua team" among other services that were simply not there. When I filed a grievance for the last of the bills, and submitted the subsequent MRI showing clearly the knee fracture, the letter I got back stated that the fracture must have happened in the 10 days between the ER visit and the MRI This was of course physically impossible as I couldn't really walk and was recovering from the other injuries from the motorcycle accident. Now I am looking at significant arthritis in my neck and knee because of this poor care. " - David

Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center: "I have waited in your emergency room over 4 hours. Everybody else has gotten called except me and then they say oh, you're next on the list and I still never get called. I end up leaving. You have the worst customer service skilled people working there. You need to take all your employees from that e r and train them on customer service skills" - Carol

: "Providence St Vincent. Been here 3 hours. Construction in the ER waiting room means you have to wait in a cramped waiting room with many others. I’m squeamish, and to my horror they are putting in IVs right here in the waiting room, no curtain. Sitting in a wheelchair with a bad back, the reason why I’m here, and my back feeling worse and now my tailbone hurts. " - Tom
