Piedmont Newton Hospital: "So awful!! The initial contact was good-associates were friendly. My husband was in so much pain it was obvious. No one else in the room was rolling in pain like he was. He was triaged for 3 hours! They gave him a tramadol-which never works. Finally he goes back to the room and waits another 2 hours for the one doctor to see him. It turns out there was 32 rooms with this one doctor seeing patients. Why don’t they have two doctors?? They gave morphine and some antiflamation meds. That medication worked for 30 minutes. After all this we were back at square one. He’s still in major pain. We will never go to that emergency room again. We will drive to Atlanta first. It’s so hard to believe people are okay with this kind of care. " - Ruth
