Adventhealth Castle Rock: "Electrocardiogram procedure to examine change in paracardial effusion. $130 Sent to my cardiologist who said it was one of the poorest readings he ever saw. He said it didn't even mention effusion. I read it too and found no effusion mentioned. Called and put in a complaint. It was investigated. It had been read by their TOP guy. He said he mentioned the effusion. Really? Had to pay to have another one. " - Sharon

Sky Ridge Medical Center: "April went in to have chemo port implanted in my chest. Two days later felt fatigued with chills. Fell in bathroom. Called ambulance. Was admitted later that night with UTI which turned into staph infection. Ended up being in hospital and rehab for 22 days. Port had staph infection therein. Removed port. Surgeons took flippant attitude. Please pay attention and ask lots of questions.
Had a t line inserted to receive 28 antibiotic infusions. Started using this line for chemo treatmant. This line clogged. Interventional Radiology now wants to remove T line and reimplant the chemo port. I said, "Why would I give you another opportunity to infect me?""

Did not explain test being order that in my opinion not necessary. Sent in PA and NP to talk to me but their limited knowledge did not help (Bad Advise). Got frustrated and left AMA. Recommend you not go there. " - BIll
