    Aug 09, 2023, 10:50 PM
Northwest Hospital: "I had hideous long wait at UW Hospital on NE 117th while my serious dog bite rendered my finger useless for all time. They missed the critical time window to treat the wound. I waited at least 5 hours." - Lucy

    Aug 04, 2023, 9:46 PM
Peacehealth Southwest Medical Center: "ER at Peacehealth Medical Center in Vancouver Washington has ridiculous wait times. Reported in 11 PM on a Thursday night, waited for SIX HOURS, never saw a doctor, there were at least 3 other couples there that had been waiting since 9PM. At 5 AM we gave up and went home." - Scott

    Jul 29, 2023, 7:59 PM
Providence St Peter Hospital: "Ever time we come here it's min 3 hours, usually way longer, makes no difference if the place is mostly empty waiting room or loads of people. Very clear the hospitol is not set up, nor ever will be to see people in a timely manor. This place has been like this for years. The care when its all said and done is average, just expect to wait forever." - Steve

    Jun 28, 2023, 7:32 PM
Overlake Hospital Medical Center: "Nurse Marie in the ER on 6/28/2023 around 1 PM was rude and dismissive. Not personal or inviting or welcoming. Her attitude was negative using words like "disgusting" when personal ER stories were shared. She should hold her tongue as you never know what people are going through in an ER. The patient did not need to experience her reaction when it had nothing to do with her at all. She was overhearing a story. Very unprofessional and condescending!" - Francis

: "It's painfully clear from a patient's perspective there is NOT enough capacity at ER's. I don't think this is unique to the Portland/Vancouver area. I guess we've been lucky to only have needed an ER 3 times in the last 12 years. Last night was the first experience in Vancouver for us waiting 3 plus hours. Our daughter suffered a workplace burn injury to her feet. Initial assessment was 2nd degree burns, may need to go to a burn center, given a pain med, and go back to the waiting area. When we asked for some info at 2 am, they said we could be waiting 2 to 5 hours more. Our 2 prior experiences were very similar in Texas. What's particularly galling is the cost and comments we, as a country, have the best care in the world..." - Bryant
