Parkwest Medical Center: "Last night 4/1/23 took my wife to Fort Sanders Park west ER. Chest pain, arm pain, dizziness, nausea, headache, she could barely walk. They did blood work to check for markers and two EKG’s and helped walk her out feeling the same way. Not looking down any other avenues. I argued, the nurse said she would get the house super, her name was supposed to be Teresa I waited in lobby for over an hour she never showed up. My wife nearly collapsed trying to get her in the car they didn’t care, said we would have to start process over again. I said that’s why she shouldn’t have been discharged. Took her to UT and they found what they missed because they brought in the cardiologist. First thing he said was she never should have left the hospital or been sent home. Luckily I have family who is attorney and handles just these types of cases, and I will not be paying park west a dime. When I speak to them if they don’t rectify this I will definitely be suing them!! " - Jason

Parkwest Medical Center: "I was recently in the er at parkwest after being sent by urgent care for ketoacidosis. They had me wait in the waiting room over 16 hours before being called back, where I almost died and had to be admitted to ccu. Just over a week later, a couple days after discharged, i had to return to ER and had to wait another 7 hours before they saw me, even though I was just in their ccu! The listed wait time is a lie." - CS

Parkwest Medical Center: "Worst hospital. Arrived with my husband at 2:00 PM on August 2nd. It is currently 5:42 AM on August 3rd and he still has not been seen. He is having chest pain and tingling in his left arm. People laying in the waiting room in pain. Terrible staff. This hospital should be shut down until it can accommodate medical emergencies. We will NEVER come back here not recommend them. County Medical Director needs to get involved. " - Kathy
