Onslow Memorial Hospital: "just now
NEW
6yo eith +104 fever, vomiting, swollen lymphnodes. Waited 6 hours to be put in a room just to wait more. 7 families stood up and walked out while i was there without recieving treatment despite some of them limping or raging ear infection. A wheelchair patient asked front desk for water because he couldn't push himself and she said "no I'm not a nurse, go get a nurse." I was audibly shocked.
The worst experience at a hospital yet again, onslow county never changes... 10 years since we came here last and I wouldn't come back again even if it truly was an emergency. How embarrassing this is our only Emergency room for our entire area and it still can't help its people..." - Sarah

Onslow Memorial Hospital: "I sat in the ER for 10 hours before they even called my name I was there for 3 hours and they finally pulled me back from my vitals just to send me back out to the waiting room while I waited the remainder 10 hours then they called me back and they didn't even give me a room they sat me down in a rolly chair AKA office chair in the hallway and I sat there for additional 3 hours and when I asked the nurse when is the doctor going to see me she said oh you got to wait until after shift change but I explained to the woman that I've been there for almost 13 hours at this point and she says to me well like I said you have to wait until after shift change and then day shift can handle your case there's nothing we can do for you at that point I was already so frustrated I just left so my experience at Onslow Memorial Hospital was the sorriest and laziest Hospital I've ever been to I can understand that they were busy but there was literally three nurses in the entire ER and barely know patience other than me rooms were empty but yet I had to sit out in the hallway and listen to all the nurses gossip to each other about their phones and their social media accounts somebody really needs to get on their cases before somebody dies like it happened in Wilmington Hospital patient dies in the waiting room because of lack of responsibilities that the nurses ate supposed to do they get paid to be nurses not to sit there hang out with friends and laugh and giggle and have a good time" - Brandon
