Ochsner Baptist Medical Center Llc: "My aunt is in Baptist Ochsner on the 3 rd floor. She was not being cared for because she needed to take her time to eat her food and the nurse would say she didn’t eat and the doctor was going to put in a feeding tube. To make a long store shore, this facility is shorthand and one nurse is caring for 16 patients at one time. How is that quality care? That’s why they wanted to put in a feeding tube so they wouldn’t have to worry about her. Another problem is she is laying in the bed wet for long periods of time . If this is going on the you could say bed sores will set in soon because they are not changing her or turning her to prevent it. As my sister and family members notice this problem with low staff my sister stood the night with my aunt to make sure she eat and stay dry. While she was there no one ever came in to clean or sweep the floors which is dirty. I understand being shorthand and the nurse can’t do everything on her own, something needs to be done now or we will have lots of dead or infected people in Baptist Ochsner. Any other questions please call me I’m waiting to hear back. My next complaint will be to Mr. Warrenor." - Justine
