in the lobby of Feinberg
with tons of others
and lots of homeless persons with all that comes with living on the streets.

Northwestern Memorial Hospital: "Don’t think this wait time is true I was just there and they told me they had 103 patients waiting to be seen so I don’t think three hours is true so I turned around and went home. I guess I will have a stroke at home even though my doctor told me to go there. I am not waiting that long." - Amy

Northwestern Memorial Hospital: "Be forward! Northwestern out sources their Radiologist! This is why reports take 2 to 4 hours and you have to ask for an update! If your DR sends you here with a disk they will not b able to read it and will make you wait in extreme pain for HOURS! The argue with you about them having staff but they aren’t here?!?!? Depending on who they use and the method for transmitting data your information such as age, gender and date of birth maybe out there already due to this! " - ER

Northwestern Memorial Hospital: "I brought my father to the emergency room at 8:15 pm on Tuesday 10/11/22 for a cut on his back after he fell in the bathtub. He had a CT scan at 11:30 p m. We have not seen a doctor and it is 12:44. All the information printed on wait times are not realistic. He supposedly waiting on a room to see a Doctor. Why aren’t there enough rooms and doctors. I understand that some higher priorities may arise but who makes a 90 year old man wait 6 hours and counting to be seen. There were others in the waiting room as well and my heart goes out to all of them. Northwestern can and should do better. The process is random and dated in this age. " - Marshall

Northwestern Memorial Hospital: "nw imm care w/o any idea of problem (no ct no stethoscope eval nothing) transferred by amb to cdh northwestern tues aft and w/out eval pumped senior citizen with acute abdominal pain to emer lobby for a full six(6) hours stopping twice for bp check. This was with good insurance too. Phone inquiry resulted in being advised the nurse was currently with the baby and hung up. I called back and they said wrong file, no apology, no answers." - Walsh,

Northwestern Memorial Hospital: "Last Friday I waited 12 hours at ER before being hospitalized. A staff member told me it had
been running like this for 3 weeks. I will never go to NW ER again. That is not an emergency room if the wait is more than 2 hours. Why wouldn’t NW improve their ER?" - Elizabeth
