Evanston Hospital: "I am in the waiting room 5.5 hours. I have had blood work done, ekg, X-ray and now after 5 hours as a diabetic I told them I was more in pain in my chest, having sugar highs and lows, now nauseous. They directed me to a side room in the waiting room to lay in a chair. I know they think I’m not important but my chest is bad, my breathing was ok but now hurting me. They just ignore me. There are two other people who Ave been here longer. I can’t drive home as I’m a mess, maybe blood sugar is out of wack I don’t know. and I can’t stay. I’m trapped and now scared. I’m visiting from Virginia and have lived in chicago for 30 years and Can’t believe how this hospital is doing. I have long im so exhausted by the Laughing and joking at the front desk. Where are the doctors and beds. What to do!!!!! Awful awful emergency room. No compassion whatsoever . " - Pamela
