Northern Hospital Of Surry County: "Arrived at the hospital around 07:30, a security guard came up and started starring at me for several minutes. i was sitting waiting for preop appointment by myself and he continued starring at me so i discretely took some pictures to show i was not imagining this. The lady at the reception desk acted hateful. i filed a complaint with H.R. at hospital and they played it down saying the desk lady said i was filming her. That was a lie i did not start taking the pictures until 5-10 min after the security guard came up.
The H.R. lady said the security guard was doing his job." - john

Northern Hospital Of Surry County: "On 8/21/22 I brought my husband to Northern Regional Hospital. He had intense pain in abdomen area.
I asked 3 times for a bed. We were willing to wait our turn to be seen but his pain was unbearable.
3 times I was told we don't have a bed..after waiting 2 1/2 hrs with my husband laying in the lobby floor
I saw no one cared. Someone needs to look into this....you did NOTHING for my husband.
Hugh Chatham discovered he had a 7mm kidney stone that was too big to pass.
Whoever is in charge of Emergency Management needs to be fired! How dare you do this to my husband!!!" - Nancy

Northern Hospital Of Surry County: "My husband had been vomiting for three days. His doctor advised him to go to the ER. He could barely sit up. They placed him in the waiting area for four hours. No one checked on him. He was told it would be three to four hours longer. I took him home. He couldn't sit up. He was treated worse than a dog here." - amanda
