Northern Hospital Of Surry County: "Arrived at the hospital around 07:30, a security guard came up and started starring at me for several minutes. i was sitting waiting for preop appointment by myself and he continued starring at me so i discretely took some pictures to show i was not imagining this. The lady at the reception desk acted hateful. i filed a complaint with H.R. at hospital and they played it down saying the desk lady said i was filming her. That was a lie i did not start taking the pictures until 5-10 min after the security guard came up.
The H.R. lady said the security guard was doing his job."

Northern Hospital Of Surry County: "On 8/21/22 I brought my husband to Northern Regional Hospital. He had intense pain in abdomen area.
I asked 3 times for a bed. We were willing to wait our turn to be seen but his pain was unbearable.
3 times I was told we don't have a bed..after waiting 2 1/2 hrs with my husband laying in the lobby floor
I saw no one cared. Someone needs to look into this....you did NOTHING for my husband.
Hugh Chatham discovered he had a 7mm kidney stone that was too big to pass.
Whoever is in charge of Emergency Management needs to be fired! How dare you do this to my husband!!!"
