Newark Beth Israel Medical Center Stories

Newark Beth Israel Medical Center: "I Had a 9:30 appointment with Dr.Nazir of womens health waited over 3 hours when I complained of lower back pains, a sharp abdominal pain and peliv. His receptionist went on to tell me the waits are normal because of the care he provides (I used to go in weekly because I have a high risk pregnacy. The wait times are around 2 to 4 hours after your appointment) If this was the case they clearly need to schedule his appointments accordingly. After another 30 or more minutes of waiting I left for Jersey city Medical center. They took me in within 5 minutes of being there without an appointment. I am so greatful to the wounderful staff at Jersey City medical center. I felt like I was having a blood clot or my baby was dying who knows what would have happened if I stayed at Newark beth Isreal...I don't know how all the other women there wait that long. I truly hope they all have safe and healthy pregnancies and someone looks into the poor care over there. The ultrasound for obgyn is no diffrent expect a 2 hour wait on a good day and iver 3 hours since I have always left after a little of 3 hours wait. Blood clotting disorder can't sit all day and taking care of a 3 year old on top of other pregnancy issues. " - Debra
