New England Baptist Hospital: "I had a 1130 appointment for a procedure at 1pm i am still waiting for my appointment i just checked with desk and they now have an emergency and have no idea when or if i will be seen. They don't have the common courtesy to keep a patient informed of delayes I'm this will fall on deaf ears." - Michael

New England Baptist Hospital: "I had a partial knee replacement in Dec 2017. Five days later I had watery diarrhea, vomiting, chills, fever and vomiting. I contracted C-Diff at New England Baptist. I believe this happened because not a single staff member washed their hands prior to entering my room. They all used the alcohol based sanitizer installed on the wall. They should KNOW that alcohol sanitizers DO NOT KILL C-diff. They test you for MRSA and staph pre surgery but have NO POST SURGERY C-diff protocol! I've been sick for 5 weeks now. If you go to this facility INSIST THAT ALL STAFF MEMBERS WASH THEIR HANDS BEFORE TOUCHING YOU! Make sure the person who delivers your meals wears gloves. C-diff is a life threatening infection that can be prevented with good hygiene practices and preventative measures. So NEB - skip the free rose and develop and integrate a protocol to prevent infecting your patients with C-diff! " - Colleen
