Nacogdoches Medical Center: "My good friend came in here at 80+ in reasonably good health. He showed a small lung spot on an x-ray on a anual physical exam. For all they know it could have been developer on the x-ray from the data they collected before proceeding with majorly invasive surgery wiyh little regard for his age and response to the first two minorly invasive procedures. They took a scope type daysurgery biopsy that came back inconclusive. He went home, but, collateral to the procedure he got fluid on the lung from irritation and became mildly conjunctive. They immediately called him back and repeated the same process again it was read as inconclusive, but this time his lung was so irritated he was held for 3 days with droppung oxygen levels due to fluid from the procedures. It was clear he needed to rcooperate first before going any further. I spoke to his wife begging her to move him to a new hospital and offered to pay the ambulance fees. The doctor seing him briefly began to insist on open exploritory surgery on the 4th day while he was in poor condition with fluid on his lungs, heart and unstable oxygen levels. She didn't know what to do as he was admitted and unwittingly trusted this doctor. The next day Artie was barely conscious from the prior two biopsies they parted his chest and killed him dead! Anybody with a brain that knew Artie knows even if that spot had been something he was 80+ and the surgery cut his life short by years. Also the third test was also inconclusive. The next Saturday I went to his funeral." - Artie
