South Nassau Communities Hospital: "Took my daughter to the ER Arrived at 6:15. Was triaged and then sat the the waiting room til 12:25. Then still waiting for an ultrasound. This is totally unprofessional. The staff doesn’t come to check on you to see how you’re feeling or if you need anything. Will NEVER come back. " - Elaine

South Nassau Communities Hospital: "Not the place where I would send a loved one. The staff is very slow to respond to patient's needs. God help anyone who's handicapped and immobile and who doesn't have family close at hand. Also, the cleanliness is not up to par. The same litter sat on the floor in my father's room for days until I picked everything up and disposed of it myself, I had to wipe and disinfect all the surfaces because they looked dusty and dirty, so apparently no one does that either. I also had to change my father's bedding linens because they were heavily soiled from days before. The floor in my father's room wasn't mopped for the entire time he was there, which I think is disgusting. And the nurses do nothing but sit around, giggle and make jokes. Unless you keep on top of things yourself, nothing will get done." - Albert
