Mount Carmel St Ann's Stories

Mount Carmel St Ann's: "I went in St. Anne’s at the request of my doctor. They acquired a blood test for me. I explained the problems I’ve had been experience for over a month averaging around 2 1-2 hours a night of sleep due to a reaction to certain cholesterol medicines, Particularly colestipol Hydro chloride. It has put all of my other medication into complete withdrawal As a further result now I’m completely dehydrated. But visibly they didn’t think much wrong. I told the man pretending to be a doctor at first then pretending to be a nurse only to find out he was perhaps an orderly at best, you’re looking for my pale white tongue, aren’t you?
And I showed him exactly that. I showed them my average sleep on my Fitbit app where it declined from an average of 9 1/2 hours to less than 3. hours, they were weeklong stretches were I got less than two hours of sleep a night. I’ve lost 20+ pounds in the past couple weeks. I’m covered in black and blue marks. One black and blue mark completely surrounds my right bicep. I have six on my chest. I showed a 2 inch gap where are my socks and on my ankles. I only have a BMI of 22. Age 61. Weighed 169 pounds 5 foot seven. I told them I couldn’t even drive for five minutes in the car without nearing going off the road. I showed them the side effects of the medication that I was experiencing which included the severe bruising and all of my other ancillary medication’s are in complete withdrawal due to the effects of Colestipol hydrochloride. I told them I have severe cramping throughout my toes my feet my calves and my thighs and my fingers and hands. And yet 14 hours later they said I was not that important. We watched The entire ER turnover three times while sitting in there. I was kind to them from the very beginning until I asked them to stop lying and stop telling me I’m next. After five more patients went by they continued to say I was next. So I just asked to leave. And when they realized that I was in danger they had the gall to say no you must stay now. I asked if I was going to be treated immediately. And they refused to answer. I said I can only take that as you not wanting to lie sixth time. One nurse even lied and stated that I said I was “suicidal, so by law I could not leave.” I was with two women that drove me there one is 72 years old both confirmed that I never said anything of the sort that again they were lying. At that point they all decided to stop talking and I said: “keep it that way, at least you’ve all stopped your lying…I’m leaving. And I’ll never walk in there again. That’s quality health at St Anne’s. Pathetic as their words. Sure, just try and send me a bill. And I’ll introduce you to my lawyer."
