    Mount Auburn Hospital Stories

Mount Auburn Hospital: "Room floor dirty in corners. I broke my ankle and foot and being disabled and elderly I felt like I was being brushed aside. I am considered homeless and they treated me with xrays if my injury. My feeling is that they could have had me stay awhile until the orthopedic doctor was available instead of having me make appointments that are extremely difficult to get to. I was cold from shock and felt like I had a stroke upon entering the emergency department in the early morning hours. Listing to the left. Nobody cares. Mow it is worse and my primary care, that I am to get help from, doesn't return calls and actually cancels themselves. This and other doctors currently at the Clarke Building outpatient psychiatric and psychology offices are performing a "death watch" on me. Opening windows during sessions is what they do to death row inmates. I feel like this is Medical Gass Lighting.

No bottled water offered. A couple of crackers to take with Motrin. I had ask for those so I wouldn't get sick.

There are so many illnesses that I've been living with dance birth I feel I am a walking miracle. The students should have been in there to witness the most uncommon illnesses known to mankind. They had me in their emergency room and they blew the chance to learn more. "

Mount Auburn Hospital: "My elderly mother had a stroke and was admitted to Mt. Auburn to recover, however, she had to be REadmmitted after leaving because she contracted C-Diff while in there! Her family has been very upset by the lack of attention to precautions that have been in place...Her room, specifically her BATHROOM!! has not been adequately cleaned and disinfected judging by her family observing this through visits. THIS SHOULD BE A PRIORITY WITH PATIENTS WITH C-DIFF!!!!!!! She is on Needham 4 and I would like this to be brought to attention! This is truly unacceptable.!!!!!!!!!!!!!" - ellen
